The grounds and Palace were stunning! You also get to see the bed that Napoleon slept in. Money, money and more money! Just don't use Insight Vacations to get there. They don't respect their customers. Anyone else will do.

It is a beautiful place. It is worth the visit. In summer may be too crowded ( i was said) but in October it was perfect. It is not cheap but you can take great photos!

The four-storey palace is a typical example of Lombard Baroque architecture encompassing elegant plasterwork, terrazzo floors, views across the lake, artwork, and grottos. Upon entering you encounter a grand sweeping staircase lined with the crests of famous Italian families which have become related to the...More

This is a MUST DO while in Stresa. The Palace is very well maintained but is not too dissimilar than any Palazzo of its time...though the location is special. The Garden is what is special. We were there in October so some of the flowers...More

Amazingly beautiful, historic and breathtaking! Every room and every painting have their stories detailed if you love to know their history. Would recommend going early with a guide since it's too huge to get the details by yourself.
