Drove 30 miles to get quality plants, only to find a sign by the door saying that the nursery was closed. No mention on the phone message that this was so, and the brown signs still point to the nursery.

A charming small nursery with a most fascinating show garden and meadow. Lovely home made cakes and tea. Unusual healthy inexpensive plants. Been visiting for years. Always good and something new to see

Nestling in the Radnor Valley, this really is a hidden gem of a garden. A most beautiful, relaxed visit to this lovely spot. Leisurely stroll through the meadows and listened to all the insects, gently humming and buzzing. Plus the birdsong. Some really interesting plants in the more formal areas. Totally inspiring.

This is a smallish private garden and nursery in an attractive valley on the Welsh borders. Everything is very informal but there is a small fee to get in and you can get coffee and cakes. Nearest the house the garden is rather formally organised into garden rooms with really attractive and colourful planting. Further out it is wilder with swings in the trees, a pond and a viewing platform with great views of the surrounding hills. We more or less had the place to ourselves and spent a delightful couple of hours wandering, photographing ….and playing on the swings! You can buy a selection of plants from the nursery having seen the same plants in situ in the garden. Much better than the choice in most garden centres… A great visit for lover of gardens and plants!…
