I have walked past this tower many times, but this is the first time I climbed it. From the top you have a great view of the valley and several wine villages. Since the Belvedere di La Morra is closed for renovation, this is your...More

The town is undergoing currently a major renovation. Many historical objects are unaccessable. The main plaza with a stunning views of the area is completely fenced off.

You can go in for free and just leave a small donation. The views from up to are spectacular of the surrounding countryside. You can even ring the bell when you get up there.

This tower is the most noticeable feature of La Morra. As you walk around this town, the tower is prominent in every view. But La Morra itself is picturesque and is located at the top of a beautiful hill, surrounded by vineyards.

Worth climbing the 5 flights of stairs up this tower. The view at the top is excellent. No charge for entry but watch for the bells (they strike every 30 mins).

La Morra village is a wonderful place to visit on a sunny day. Leisurely stroll up the gobbled stones street to the tower. Views are breathtaking. There are several cafes, wine bars, tasting rooms and restaurants on the way. You can easily spend there an...More
