Did you return to your Hire-Car & found it had vanished into thin air ?

Welcome to Petrovac.

First of all .You want to know where it is right ?
1. Make sure you have €106 euros CASH with you to release it.
2. From the beach entrance road walk all the way up the hill bearing right until you get to the top.
3.Just before main road you will see 2 car parks opposite each other .Go in the nearest, ignore the one opposite.
4. Behind car park is a portocabin.
5 . Enter cabin with ID & Cash .
6. Spend 15 mins form filling while 2 obese clampers chain smoke counting their wonga .

We parked just around the corner , completely legally not blocking anything,no signs .

Trying to dispute this is a complete waste of energy & time .
They actually split the cash between the clampers & police right in front of you , nice little earner .

The beach itself is a fairly nice little walk with a few good little restaurants.
Not sure but think it might be accomodation for chain smokers only here. Classy clientele.

Amazing beach in June as not too busy
Great beach, restaurant, cafe, bars, sea, and enough to do for a week.
Easy to walk from one side to other. No car to bother you.
All place so friendly.
Easy to travel around the coast.

We have just arrived back in the UK after a week at the Hotel Olivia 5 minutes from the beach in the holiday resort of Petrovac, baby brother to Budva.. We were there in the last week of May so the beach was never crowded. The sea was sparkling and blue and clean. I have heard the resort gets very crowded in the summer but in May the place is delightful. You can stroll along the wide promenade. There is a good variety of shops and restaurants. The beach itself is very pebbly but somebody told me about 'magic shoes' so i purchased a pair. What a difference. We did a boat trip around the bay and we signed up for a day trip to Albania. I would happily spend a month in May in Petrovac, a charming, friendly family resort. I don't know many places I would willingly go to in August where everywhere is crowded. It might not have 5 star resorts but it's very adequate for modest budgets.

Horrible city; towing company 24/7. There is not enough parking, only outside the town and you can call a taxi. Tourists are not welcomed to Petrovac. City is very famous for towing your car, 106euro ticket, cash only.
Never plan to visit, you don’t need to circle around or wait hours to find a parking or to mislead you with P sign and town you. Never go to Petrovac, nothing to do or see.

Shallow shingle beach - clean water, great to run or walk along beach front - well maintained.
Lots of restaurants and cafes.
Cats and kittens everywhere!
Sunset is amazing and worth watching

I would not call it a beach. Not a sandy beach. Far far too crowded - like sardines.
You have to pay 10 euros fir a desk chair. We would have got it free with our hotel booking but we had one look and ran a mile!

The water is pure and clean. The worst thing is no sand. All the beach is stone and inside the sea many rocks. If you want to stay on the beach you need to rent umbrella and sunbed. The prices between 10-15 €.

The beach is very nice and good for swimming. Water is so clear that you can see the bottom easily. Overall nice experience.

We love Montenegro, but we are only disappointed that the Petrovac is so crowded and its beach is absolutely disgusting. The water is dirty, so don't want to soak our bodies in this horrifying water. We usually enjoy snorkeling but here we only see rubbish floating. They should look after their asset really. Cannot wait leaving here.
