Top place. We went during winter but the weather was fantastic. We reached the shore of the island (it's easy to swim till there). It was forbidden to enter (there are some roman ruins) so we turned back. Super recommended

We went down here for a look around. Quite a pretty spot with good coastal views and quite a few people diving. Doesn't beat northumberland coast though.

We spent a pleasant day at the beach, the water was clear and calm. The snorkelling was good, you do need some cover for your feet as there are many sea urchins.
No bar or loo and a few jet skis in the water further out so this may affect your decision to visit. Plenty of parking, the further up you are the longer and steeper the walk at the end of the day, best to use the turning circle to load/unload

A good place to Scuba dive with Estella Dive Centre. Reasonable price, plenty of kit to hire, will use again

Well, it's nice enough as coastlines go BUT.....It is ony a rocky headland with a small island just off shore. Folklore has it that monks lived there long ago and that mermaids frolicked on the island (presumably not when the monks were there. There is no restaurante, no toilets, no shops, in fact nothing more than rock and sea water. Pretty but not for any longer than 30minutes or so. Also the track down through the rocks can be difficult - definatley not wheelchail friendly.

Very nice day at the beach, few people and beautiful nature. We tried to snorkle but there no fishes where we tried to find them.

This beach is a hidden gem. Very nice but could do with a walkway down to the beach.. nudists are welcome. Water warm and clear.

Most beautiful beach in Aguilas, a must visit, crystal clear waters, quiet and not crowded. Getting there is a bit tricky, we were on our bikes and the terrain is not very bike friendly, but it was so worth the visit!

One of the sights in Aguilas which is difficult to ignore. The island is visible for a large number of the beaches in the town but my favourite view if from the path near Hornillo.
