The museum has a small but unique collection of Lombard sculpture with a visual presentation demonstrating the original colours of the objects and the pigments used.

The ancient altar was displayed in fairly unique way by colour highlights on the engravings that changed. NOT huge display of artifacts which was a relief! Just enough to keep one's interest alive.

The only interesting thing to see here is the "recreation" of the painted sarcophagi, vividly making it clear how it was made at the time. Museum closed several days a week.
