Getting to the Rocca Sillana is NOT easy. A rough climb that seems to take forever. The place in itself more than repays you for the effort. Restoration wasn't done as properly as it should but the scenery is magical. You can feel the centuries...More

The fact that it was closed at 15.20 and we were not allowed to enter until 16.00, despite the fact that we had walked up and the attendant was already there. We walked back down the hill and got an ice cream instead.
