This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. We stayed in Villa Mare apartments right on the beach. The beach is great, soft sand and the silky Ionian sea are perfect combination. We hired a car which is recommended due to the hill!!...More

Sandy beach, boat hire, sun loungers and umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants, shops. This beach has it all. Long downhill walk from the village, but there are buses which can take you back up- timetables at the bus stops.

A good beach, though it is better at one end than the other. At one end it is fairly pebbly but at the other end (the beach is around 700 metres long) it has lovely fine sand. Sunbeds typically bunch together in the middle but...More

Tried many different beaches and this one - local to us is probably one of the best. A few places to eat and drink, sunbeds at 6 euros per couple. Nice warm sea and gentle in the morning.

Lovely beach with sunloungers (3 euros each for the day), mini market and restaurants. Sea very calm so great to swim with a 2 year old. Can hire boats too which seems popular.

There were about 9/10 in the immediate street by saoulas studios but there are also some on the road down towards the beach and then plenty along the beach front. You won't be spoilt for choice.

The prices are the same as anywhere else in Kefalonia . Average price for a good meal for two with house wine will be 30 to 40 euro
