This park is affordable, quiet, has beautiful waterfalls and trails that are very doable and lead to incredible look outs. It is definitely one of my favorite parks that I’ve been to!

The park has a few treks, a few waterfalls. Very nice setting and an amazing restaurant. It is definitely worth a visit.

google maps currently shows the longer/dirt road but there is a newly paved/shorter route from Canela near the Museo Vapor.This is a great side trip from Canela/Gramado, and only takes about 1-2 hours total (the drive only about 10 minutes 1 way and the hike can be done in 30-40 minutes if you want to hurry-but why?) Easy hike for toddlers but stairs/steps are involved. Some beautiful waterfalls , streams and pools are visible from the trails. Signs advise visitors to not wade or swim in the water. Bring water and bug repellent(and your camera/binoculars)…

This is another great place to know in Canela, mainly if you like to do an ecological trail (it is a short trail). Good for kids and family. At the end of the trail you can swim in some waterfalls. They also have a charming restaurant called Bergamota, we did not have lunch there, but we want to come back for it. I went on march, but in the summer must be great!!…
