Great location being a very large area with plenty of alternative walks. Area is child and dog friendly. Good value cafe for drinks, light bites as well as more substantial meals.

Hot Bank Holiday weekend. We could have either headed to the seaside or the beautiful woods and chose the right place. The woods were calm, rich with bluebells and the cafe full of cake (oh the cake.) Escape the overcrowded beaches and go somewhere lovely.

Lovely visit the woods. Our boys age 7 and 10 has a brilliant time. Booked for afternoon tea in the cafe, was delicious. Exceptionally friendly service and fabulous food. I can got to take the leftovers home. Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend.

Dogs are fine, although I think they like them on a lead, at least around the shop/café/car park area, for obvious reasons.
