This is a wonderful place to visit, walks etc., however, the waitress in the restaurant was very stressed and my grandchildren were served dangerously salted tomato and basil soup which they were unable to eat.

Overall good experience however, need to be mindful of uneven ground and sometimes just holes in the ground which could be dangerous for young children and end in expensive vet bills should your dog damage his or her leg.

We stopped here for lunch on a sunny day surrounded by Xmas trees for sale. I had a sausage ploughman's which was very tasty. Wandered only a short distance through the woods as all the recent rain made it bit muddy. A nice break.

Beautiful extensive working woodland. Stunning vistas, and excellent community usage. You can go off and find plenty of peace and calm, or stay near the coffee shop and just enjoy the views and coffee! Which like the food, is great.

Great location being a very large area with plenty of alternative walks. Area is child and dog friendly. Good value cafe for drinks, light bites as well as more substantial meals.

Popped in here today with my Mum for tea and cake and had a lovely afternoon - the caramel cake was delicious (huge slices too!) We will be back!

Dogs are fine, although I think they like them on a lead, at least around the shop/café/car park area, for obvious reasons.
