The Cathedral built during the 12th century in the Romanesque style has a beautiful bell-tower under which runs a small alleyway and an interesting interior. Most of the columns are roman in origin, and several decorations are early christian and byzantine in style, such as...More

It’s wonderful that everything is done to ensure the building preserves it medieval identity. Embellishment is kept to the minimum just as it’s original state. Salut !

The magic to visit Casertavecchia at sunset is unique while looking to Caserta with the big "Reggia". Duomo is the top of a "crescendo" of wonderful buildings

This is a beaufiful old shurch in the middle of the village and it is lovely because it is natural and stripped of gaudy stacco.

After the visit to the 'Reggia di Caserta' the old Caserta town is the second stop which would take you back in time! Good to spend half a day or a day and have lunch on the top of the hill!
