What a place! Get a good map, try to get some birding information.. The guys who drives the boat are often willing to help. At this location there is a good tower with many different gulls and terns flying by. In the salines wade herons...More

We so wanted to explore the Po Delta - but even with a car found a lot of it inaccessible. It's still worth a drive along some of the small tracks ... but not as picturesque or accessible as we'd hoped.

A nice trip if the sun is shining, the guide was really nice although you will need to understand Italian. 12 euros is too much for what is basically a 3km trip. You can see flamingos all year from a distance and some other birds,...More

We took two tours 1) Mesola deer tour and 2) the flamingo tour. The staff and guides were very pleasant - going out of their way to assist everyone. The guides were knowledgeable about their topic. Both tours were about 1.5 hours in length. The...More

We took a boat trip around the area and were fascinated by it. It was stunning to see flocks of flamingos in their natural habitat. Our trip also included lunch on the boat. The lunch was pretty poor really, comprising battered pieces of various fish...More

Joined the 15:00 trip to the fisherman house. Beautiful area and after 5 min ride we passed the flamingoes which were far away at the other side of a dyke / channel wall which made it difficult to observe them. After a few minutes they...More

We were lucky to see pink flamingos during the tour! It was a nice, easy boat ride, enjoyed some wine on board and had a few minutes to explore.

For some reason it I very hard to find nature places in Italy. There are few signs and far between. I am not even sure this is the same boat ride we went on. Anyway there are 14 thousand Flamingos to see in addition to...More

The boats take passengers along a route that reveals many shore birds, flamingos, cormorants, grebes, gulls among them. They stop at a fishing facility to tell of the history of fishing in the community.
