In all honesty, the rest of the museum isn't that special. But the Codex is a must-see if you're in Rossano. The staff of the museum is wonderful and personal English-language tours does a great job in conveying how special the codex is.

How surprised we were to find such a nice museum in Rossano with a very nice collection of art, icons and artifacts. The prize was being able to view the Codex just returned from the Vatican where it had been recently restored.
