you can see penguins far far far away, staff is unfriendly, i was trying to buy a hot chocolate and the cashier was angry, she treated me rudely. at st kilda you can see better the pinguins and is for free.

The popularity of this event is its own worst enemy. The very few penguins that we saw coming in were a long way from where we were seated and typically obscured by other spectators

the earlier the better as they come in at sunset but to get a good viewing i would go for 45 minutes prior to sunset..
