Very interesting city to visit for a short time period to see the pool and stroll through town to the cliffs where the water flows over. Medieval mills and cisterns along the walk.

Piazza delle Sorgenti is not your average central piazza of a pretty Tuscan village. Its focal point is a big thermal springs pool right in the middle surrounded by very old atmospheric houses with cafes, restaurants, artisan shops, little Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, lovely...More

Hot springs at the top of the hill no longer available to the public, but here for thousands of years. There is a little chapel to one side. With plenty of cafés and restaurants and hotels in the immediate vicinity

Thermal Swimmingpool in the middle of Bagno Vignoni, a little borgo in Val d'orcia Tuscany. Tipical italian place to visit.

Worth a visit if you've got some time left. The bagno looks like an artificial little lake with houses and a church around. There are some souvenir shops, bars and restaurants around. Even during the high season, it looks rather quit. When we where there...More

We visited this pretty little town after lunch in Pienza in mid August. We found it to be quite quiet. In the Piazza there is a large thermal pool where you can see the thermal water bubbling up. There is not much to do except...More
