Recently returned from a weeks walking in Tuscany. The village was very special , quiet walled village, with a lovely atmosphere. A great location to visit the area. Able to walk from the village , yet Siena is only an hour away!

...and not many touristas!! Nice, quiet, quaint, charming - all appropriate adjectives for this little hilltown gem. Very much worth a visit.

San Quirico d’Orcia is a special town with restaurants churches and food shops. What is remarkably missing is the plethora of dress, shoe and just plain junk shops aimed at separating women from their money. It’s very nice.

I'm sorry, but I don't know. We had a car so it wasn't anything we looked into. Good luck, and have a nice trip.
