A brief history history, concise and condensed. An introduction. For a more detailed history, you have to buy the book, a massive 5 kg book. Could come with a DVD instead, easier for tourists to bring home a copy. Could be better with an audio interpretation, else a multi-lingual guide is required. Information board is brief and exhibits need explanation or elaboration for non-Malaysians. A more elaborate history of Cheng Ho can be found in Malacca, a museum dedicated to him. Senior rates is half price for 65+. Normal is RM20. Could be less as the National Museum charges only RM2. Maybe different rates for locals and tourists instead.…

There is an aura of mystery in this museum. There is a lot of artifacts from the country. A lot of students can learn from the museum stuff.
