It was closed but it is part of a lovely walking tour with amazing views of this medieval time. There are signs next to each monument showing the path . In the center of this little village there is a great pasticerie!

Amazing view over the Alcantara's valley. We found it closed, that was a pity because from the external appearance worth a visit. It's better to call some info # before to drive up.

The castle is free to visit and offers good views. The painted ceilings are good but the refurbishment is not completed as yet. Whole visit takes about 20 mins...
