Even though this is called the Roman Bridge, it is not Roman, but was built in the 17th century, we were told. It is very picturesque and has a beautiful cross hanging from the center.

When you’re in Cangas de Onís, it’s worth walking to see the Roman Bridge over the Sella River. It’s very picturesque. There’s a Victoria Cross hanging from the centre.

A stunning bridge on the outskirts of town. A good place to mooch around and enjoy the views, soaking up the relaxing vibe.

It will certainly take your breath away. Its a really nice old bridge with a history behind it. Stare at the cross that had in the middle is the “victory cross” or cruz de la victoria Take a chance to contemplate

This bridge is unexpected. It's very tall and you can walk over it and see the river with the salmon jumping below. Great photos

If in the city spend five minutes seeing the bridge .... but don’t expect “miracles” it is and old bridge but more to be seen as the city landmark

Beautiful old bridge. Worth getting out of your car and walking over it although parking was a nightmare! Spectacular setting. Quite hard to walk over as it is paved with large uneven cobbles and is steep. Unique sight.

The old Roman bridge (restored in the 19th c) crosses the Sella River at the entrance to the town of Cangas de Onis. The waters are crystal clear, fly fishermen can be observed under the stone arch structures. Worth a stop to climb, cross, take...More
