The size is interesting that's all. You will see many others more deeply in North and south Bretagne, but if you are there why not ?

This is a really impressive menhir. We loved it. Picnic tables in the area. Good information. Worth a detour.

You expect to find this massive monolith very easy, but it was harder than you think . Once you are in the open fields you can't miss it .
It makes you feel connected with the people who lived here centuries ago, and makes you wonder how they were able to do things like this .
Easily accesible, with some areas where you can sit and have a picnic .

We are astonished by that achievements of modern man but man in an earlier time showed skill, initiative and sheer hard work in what they achieved. This monolith is over 9 metres tall. How did they achieve moving it here. We would struggle today to do so.

Nice break during a long day in the car. There are picnic tables, so if you feel like spending an hour or so, this would be a good place for lunch or to sprawl on the grass.

While searching for our AIRBNB in this very quaint place we came across a large finger-shaped menhir completely surrounded by corn stalks. What a sense of past touching present came across me at that moment. And, soon afterwards we found our place for the night.

Even those with little interest in history will enjoy a brief break to check out this prehistoric monolith.

Worth a visit if you are in the area and you can take a picnic as there are seating areas near by, not a great deal to see

Eventually we found the place as it marked by such small signage. It is quite a large structure and obviously very old. There is a good explanation about the stone and how it was erected. It was worth the special trip that we made from Dinard.

Huge standing stone in the middle of no where. Its worth a quick look, and the signs are in English and French. Only need to spend about 5-15 minutes.
