The Sattal Christian ashram is a beautiful property built in the 1930’s!! And Perfect for summer getaways for young people. The rooms and facilities are basic but if you're in a place like Sattal it is quite evident that you're there for the wonderful experience, the hills, the beautiful weather and the ashram provides you that and is nicely located and just a km away from the tourist sattal site. You can go around for morning walks/runs around the property and explore the trails which we did during our time here. Please note that there alot of leeches here so be careful, wear long joggers and carry salt!! …

A long walk takes you to the early 20th century ashram. The buildings still speak of the colonial past. Please maintain calm while walking through the area

We visited the Church which is set amidst the forests & surrounded by mountains. It looked pretty with its diminutive size, stone architecture and the calmness it exuded. When we visited around noon, a service was in session.

Sattal Christian ashram is the oldest ashram builtt on hills was founded by Dr. Stanley Jones in1930 and was a founding stone of SAT-TAL Ashram range.
