We heard about waipara hills and their wine tastings so we decided to go there. When we entered we asked an older lady if we could test wines. She just said we don't do that. So we left again, disappointed. Then we drove to some...More

Great location and delightful food but very poor service. I guess the staff focus on those who are wine tasting in the hope they buy lots of wine. But one of us was driving so wine tasting wasn’t on. If we wanted a dessert we...More

We turned up without a booking & based on other reviews, were lucky to get in. Thankfully there was a window where we enjoyed a fabulous birthday lunch. Every dish was a highlight, and the best meal of our 10 day stay in NZ, even...More

We had a tasting plate with assorted things to eat - pulled pork, lamb, beef balls, prawns... if you don’t know what to choose, this is a great option! Wine is delicious, and staff were friendly and helpful. Venue is gorgeous. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the Winery’s Restaurant for lunch. The Shared Plate Platter was an excellent opportunity to try the best of the food on offer. The Fennel Salad was outstanding, and that’s saying something when I usually give meat the nod but...More

First time to wine tasting, not sure what to expect. Dennis walked us through with a cost effective pricing of NZD5 per pax. Even helped us with directions to Christchurch thereafter. Would have appreciated a vineyard tour too if there is any.
