The Tonnara has a very unique scenario, it's an abandoned tuna fishing place with a very small spot to swim. Rocks, shoes needed! Panorama is beautiful!

Not much left to see. Nice place to check out. Not much parking. Could be a good spot to fish as that's what I saw a few locals doing. We stop by on our way to the reserve, spent maybe 20 minutes on site.

A lovely spot but got whacked by jellyfish and didn't return. The Bay of SantaMargherita had good enough snorkeling

Not that much to see but the remains show a piece of a different Sicily and the view towards Zingaro is amazing.

Don't expect to find a parking lot nearby! Better walk for a while and you will be rewarded. Nowadays the "Tonnara" is only a remain of a big factory where tuna was taken and processed. Some 50 fishermen and workers used to live there. Activities...More
