No tourist signs been left to rot. No customer service just pay entry. Also there is no shop or toilets near by so go prepared.

There is SO MUCH history here but unfortunately no onsite information, no pamphlet, no sign posting- nothing. I actually wonder why you pay a 2 Euro entrance fee. If it was not for our visit to the archaeological museum on the other side of Lefkas...More

Surprisingly large fortress complex and worth the very reasonable entry fee. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Lefkada town or passing by.

The ruins of the Castle of Agia Maura are quite interesting and its location is great. You may notice that the castle is surrounded by waters on all sides. Maybe some more interest shown by the local authorities would make it more attractive among tourists.

The wall of castle is still good, inaide you have lots of ruins but a small orthodox church is still very well preserved with a bell on top nd natural light. Few big canons and sea view.

Nothing special, rather a waste of time, dont expect too much, these are only ruins of castle . If you still decide to visit if, 30 minutes time is enough.
