Great little beach for families wanting to avoid busy commercial beaches
Aug 2019 • Family
Lots of free parking (provided you go before 11am) and lovely shallow waters for toddlers to run freely. Lovely sandy beach too though v natural (mountains of seaweed everywhere) and no amenities like toilets etc. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quieter and less busy beach.

Nature in all its glory
Jun 2018 • Couples
A natural beach accessible by bike or hike and part of a circular walk around the salt lagoons. Not for the feint hearted though, no facilities along the route from Lo Pagan to the marina other than a toilet at the windmill. Take plenty of water, sunblock and a hat if going in summer - mozzie repelent might be good too. There were jelly fish when we went in June (likely not the stinging sort but we didn't try to find out!!!) and lots of biting insects. That said, the water is cool, clear and fresh in summer, unlike the Mar Menor! Swim wear optional.

What a beautiful beach, with all the dunes and all... Very natural there, but absolutely beautiful.... No bars or restaurants.. Just one at very end/ beginning..... Well worth a visit....

Good for a walk
Oct 2017 • Couples
At the end of the nature reserve is a large car park adjacent to the marina and it’s a pleasant walk (or cycle ride) along the well trodden hard beach sand path towards the point opposite the end of La Manga strip. It’s also quite bracing as it faces the open sea and gets you in the mood for a snack or drink at one of the many marina eateries when you get back to the car park. Even though it’s flat, due to the distance from the park entrance I don’t think you’d be able to walk to the car park, then along the beach and back again (especially on a hot day) but all told it would certainly be pleasant and a good work out !!

Natural, unspoiled beach
Aug 2017 • Family
A lovely, sandy beach. It is roughly a 50min walk from San Pedro so it's not busy at all! There are no facilities like beach bars etc which makes it even more enjoyable! You can admire the nature and greatly relax there... The sea is very warm too.

unspoiled beach

we hired bikes and cycled the prom and then onto the beach. It was so relaxing there, very quiet and peaceful. We parked our bikes and stayed for a few hours. The water was lovely and reasonably clean. We did not realise that it was a gay nudist area but we did not feel out of place either. It was very chilled out. Would recommend it.
