This was the second time I enjoyed a 3 hour quad bike adventure with Umbria in Quad. Luca is a fantastic guide, offering tips and insight to match your experience level. Having quad biked all around the world, I can say this is the most fun experience offering exposure to demanding routes. Be prepared for an adventure across varied terrain that will push you to the limit. I will be back!

We booked this for my Brother in Law's 'Stag do' whilst we were over in Italy for his wedding. We had arrived quite a bit earlier than planned, so we sat around waiting for our time slot when Luca arrived with another group he had taken out on his tour. Luca is a great host, his English is fantastic which made life a lot easier for us as regrettably, our Italian is rubbish! After a short safety briefing we geared up with the provided clothing whilst Luca filled the quads up. My father in law was very apprehensive about going out on a quad due to a bad hip, but Luca understood this and offered a 4 wheeled buggy which was far more suitable. The remaining 4, including myself, took up the quad's and after a short demonstration of how to use the quads, and then a quick familiarisation session next to Luca's house we were ready to go. Just as we were, the heavens opened. This did nothing but add to the whole experience. Luca led us off for a 3 hour tour. When I say it is in the top 3 things I've ever done, I absolutely mean it. It was fantastic. Super challenging, but the euphoria of getting up and down treacherous terrain was immense. We had booked a return taxi, but Luca knew we were going to overrun the time and rang the taxi to rearrange the time for us. We got back to base, soaking wet through, but we all could not believe the fun that we had. Luca is a super host, and nothing is too much for him, even when the groom to be decided to take off-roading to a new level and park himself in a bush, struggling to get back on the trail, Luca assisted him to get him back on track. This was obviously much to our amusement, however, he will not thank me for putting it on the review!
Luca - thank you for an amazing experience.
If anyone reading this is debating whether or not to book, DO IT. You will not regret it.

We were a family of 5 ages 35-65 experiencing this together as a family. Three of us had done buggies in the mountains of Southern Spain, so we had a bit of an idea what to expect. Finding the place is tricky, so make sure you leave plenty of time and have the coordinates. Luca greeted us and told us that only one of two buggies were available that we requested, and that 3 of us needed to ride on quads. This took us aback a bit, since the buggies are, in our opinion, safer and not so hard on the body. But, we had driven almost an hour to get here and with the other vehicle out of commission, we had no choice but to go with what he had. The equipment is rough and quite used, but with that said, we still were given a full safety talk and went to a small area to try out our rides before heading out. Easy, calm start through the countryside, turns to 4WD challenges over boulders, through water and mud and over deep ruts, turning into a heavy vegetation wooded area with a small path almost impassable, back to calm, then challenging again.... heart pumping and actually what we were hoping for. Luca was always there to guide us if we wanted help, and gave us leverage if we wanted to try something. We stopped midway on a beautiful hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno and took pictures. Two of the family that were hesitant to go on this adventure actually ended up really enjoying it, mostly because they were able to successfully overcome their fears, and not regret it at all.

We chose the 2 hour guided tour and hired two quads (teenage daughters as passengers). Luca explained everything patiently and carefully and we had a practice at the start. My wife was very hesitant as we had only ridden some very basic small quads once before but these were easy and much more fun! I travelled at the back and was amazed at how well she did going up the steep hills and over rocks and crevices. I slowed and stopped at times to go really fast to catch up for some thrills which my daughters really enjoyed (we swapped passengers half way). The trip was quite long which was great and we went over several hills, along some narrow paths, lots of large rocks (suspension makes it easy), farm roads and even the public roads. Luca explained the sights and villages and some history when we stopped for the views of the lake and countryside. We definitely recommend this for something different and exciting!

Great tour and a very kind guide. A lot of off-road, and some great sightseeing. Money more than well spend!

We had a lot of fun climbing the hills around Magione on the powerful quads provided with an excellent guide on a private tour. Definitely a great way to enjoy the area around the lake!

A very special sunset overlooking the lake was enchanting. But getting there - was exciting. Seeing Italy off-road is not something one gets to do very often. Amazing scenery with a bland of adrenalin was a special treat. We were three couples on three Quads, lead by the owner - Luca - who guided us patiently with his warm smile, all along the 2 hour track.
Luca is a pro. He went over safety tips thoroughly, had us practice a bit before heading out and made sure we all felt comfortable and safe.
Definitely will do it again.

Good organisation, awesome trips and an english speaking guide. Guide is also very good and adapts to the people he takes on the trails.

Quided and personalized trips

Renting quads and going alone is also possible.

But guided is way more adventurous

Luca is WONDERFUL! This was such an awesome experience. My friends and I spent our free day of our study abroad trip riding quad bikes through the hills of Magione and honestly if you get the chance to do it, you definitely should! Luca and his coworkers were kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off at the train station after, which made things so much easier for the 6 of us that went. Umbria in Quad is worth every penny, and they truly care about their customers, which is more than I could ever ask for in an experience like this!
