Claudia runs the winery, farm and B&B and so much more (with her dad). When we arrived she had a beautiful snack of cheese, breads, proscutto, wild boar salami (that her dad made) and her own olive oil. Two of us love prosecco which is why we chose this winery. She opened a bottle just for us. We had so much fun learning about the long history of the winery and how the Pope had taken it from her family back in the 1400's and they got it back a few hundred years ago. Her dad opened one of the first agritourism farms in Tuscany in the 1970's. You can tell they have a passion for what they do.

We had a lovely hour or so with the family owners of this vineyard and farm.
They were so passionate about their wine and olive oil and local produce.
We learned about the grapes, the super Tuscan blends and what makes a quality wine, olive oil and also balsamic vinegar. We tasted some lovely wines with bread, oil, cheeses and wild boar sausage. All delicious. We particularly enjoyed the 106 wine, which has won wine awards internationally and is named after the age of the grandmother, and the vino santo. Tasting is 15 euro each person and you can purchase wine and olive oil in any quantity with no obligation. I would recommend a visit to anyone. They also have rooms to rent/agritourism. Lovely people who deserve to be supported.

Where here one week in august 2015, agriturismo. Very nice site. Friendly owners who showed us all of their wines. Bought several boxes of wine.
