A must see when you are in Pienza. The city was well planned and the Duomo adds to its charm. The Duomo is in the main square and is the centerpiece of the city.

Beautiful full of light interior of the 15th century Cathedral is remarkable in its simplicity and harmony. Rather plain facade matches the interior, austere and plain, but very imposing and impressive. Lovely church in magical Pienza...

The simple facade belies what you will find inside. I only gave three stars because of the lack of information inside on this lovely structure. This church should be celebrated!

This place is pretty spartan on the interior but I enjoyed the work that is currently being done to ensure this place doesn’t fall off the end of the cliff. You can see throughout the church how the structure is being almost torn in half....More
