We called in to Pienza in late September 2018. It wasn’t crowded and as well as a magnificent view out over the fields from the walls of the town, there were some lovely little shops in the Main Street.

Loved this town - and the piazza. Got some great shots with the cathedral and surrounding countryside. Even some lovely little shops.

I'm a bit piazzaed out after 7weeks in Italy. It is pretty, but small. This was part of the big plan of planned community by Pope Pius II

This is the perfect example of a charming little villiage. It is pleasing to the eye and feels authentic. It is also not very crowded which makes it more than unique.

Very nice (and small) historical center with few tourists as it is quite hard to get there. Great views on Toscannian valley.
