Lovely location and good bar service. The food is rubbish. There were only 4 options and the paella would take 40 minutes, same for another item. We ordered chicken nuggets and chips (!) and mixed fried seafood and chips. Both took ages to arrive. Vhicken nuggets ok but the chips were soggy. The 'fried seafood' was a load of tentacles mixed in with the soggy chips in a cone - truly awful. One cone of nuggets and chips arrived half an hour later than the others. Such a great location, but spoiled by rubbish food. Unbelievable that they have such limited options and nothing Italian - terrible. We paid 150 Euros for 5 of us.

Lovely place, very exotic felt like thailand/bali.
Its open all day until late evening BUT
it says on google open 19.30
thats quiet confusing!
Cus its open but you dont get food between hours.
So if you go there late afternoon its obviously open cus its a place by the sea, but food isnt served until after 19.30
drinks and cocktail is ok but not food.
We went there to eat, arrived 17.30
so we were a bit disappointed due to hunger:-)) so unfortunately we couldn't wait that long for the kitchen to open.
So, next time!!

How many people know about the Marina at Pisa. We went by bus although they do not run very often and discovered it was market day which was over a large area and fascinating. The view from the seawall was also great. The small High Street has some very nice cafes and everyone was so friendly. The bus journey was also interesting but as I say infrequent and a difficult timetable to fathom out timings and the bus was late.Several locals walked away when it failed to turn up but we held on and eventually it arrived full as market day which accounted for it being late.

A must do if you are around, the sunset is wonderful and you can enjoy it while having a good cocktail and good food. Aperitivo is free of charge and offer a good selection. A nice list of cocktails, mocktails and other drinks. Either you go to the bar or you wait for a "table" service which is charged £2 each time.
If you don't have a car, there is a bus stop less than 2min walk from there. The only thing is that if you take the bus you have to leave early. Cabs are from Pisa so they can expensive but if you are lucky enough you have a driver or you can walk back home.

I spent my birthday here with friends. Had a lovely time. Pay for a drink or cocktail and you get to eat from a free buffet of cold salads and dips. With the choice of an additional menu of Paella or seafood in batter to enjoy on the beach if you wish to take advantage of the restaurant. Large bamboo mats are laid on the beach with Moroccon style cusions and candles so you can enjoy food and wine in front of the beautiful sunset.

Visited sunset cafe twice within the 9 days I was in Pisa! Such a good setup, beautiful surroundings, amazing cocktails and they provide a buffet for you!!! Which has the most amazing pesto pasta salad. Such good value for money the buffet is put on free for you, recommend taking advantage of this!! Staff lovely and so welcoming, very enjoyable experience watching the beautiful sunset!

Buffet dinner on the beach. Very crowdy but worth every minute of waiting. Romantic sunset with simple food and glass of vine. Also remember long walk back to Tirrenia - along the beach.

We took the bus from Pisa to Marina Di Pisa. Once we got there, we took a stroll along the coast line and ended up at the Sunset Cafe. We got there around 7:15pm which was lucky as it soon got extremely busy with many people waiting for seats. The drinks, the bar snacks, the atmosphere and the view were all wonderful! This is a great place to go with your significant other or a group of friends. Just make sure you get there early!
