The antique mill in the centre of Loro Ciuffena is a relic of the past. It is a centre point of the town and reminds us of what was important in times gone by. A great shot of the falls from the bridge can be...More

Beautiful waterfalls associated with the mill in Loro Cuiffenna. Stop on the bridge, view a picturesque scene of the river meandering through the boulders, the mill, and waterfalls created by the mill.

wonderful town to visit and so close to Belpoggio to run in for pizza, bread, cheese, shopping. Purchased a great coat in one of the little shops.

It's very old mill which still in use. All the tools are hanging on the wall. This area of the town is picturesque everywhere I turn.

The mill was actually closed but they opened it for us and gave us a demo of the grinding process plus allowed us to make a purchase after hours. The people in this village are so helpful to travelers.

Perhaps I didn't quite get the majesty of this attraction or I just didn't understand it but it just looked like a big stream to me. Definitely much better views and things to see in the mountains which are spectacular.

Several friends of mine stayed in a nearby home right outside Loro Ciuffenna. One day while walking around the town we discovered this beautiful mill. The pictures simply do not do it justice. There is nearby a pizza place. Where you could easily grab a...More

The guidebook suggested spending ten minutes in Loro to walk down to the old mill. It didn't say what a beautiful place Loro is, perched on its Tolkein-esque gorge. We spent rather longer. If I say that it's a scruffy little old Italian town, that...More
