I would recommend wearing sturdy sneakers at a minimum, maybe even some hiking shoes. I have bad knees and found the trek to be doable. So worth it. The views and swimming in that clear blue sea were both incredible. Highly recommend!

I loved this walk !!! Im not a professional, but even for me it was a doable walk. Yes - we had to make few stops on our way back (upwards the mountain), but the view was worth it. You have to pay for entrance,...More

The first beach we have visited on a sunny and calm October day. The landscape is stunning and the mix of rocks and beach wonderful. We can only deplore that people cannot respect the signalisation in place and used their boat to directly access the...More

Cruised on the SS125 from Cala Gonone, what a thrilling ride!! We set out pretty early and really enjoyed the downhill hike to the cala...nothing will ever prepare you for the rugged, unspoilt beauty that is Goloritze....had to stop a minute to take it all...More

Much like other reviewers, we found the hike ok but pretty boring. I found myself completely entranced by the Instagram photos and wanted to get down to the beach for the 'big reveal', but as we didn't do enough research, we were disappointed with pounding...More

At the start of the walk you have to pay €6 per person to enter (goes towards conserving the beach/path etc). The walk to the beach was steep with 500m+ of decent on a variety of ground - steps, loose rock, gravel and dusty paths....More

The best would be to hire a car from Olbia and drive to Cala Gonone. You would have the choice to either do a 90 minute drive to Cala Goloritze and then a hike to the beach or hire a boat and get to see some magical places... More
