We spent 10 days of our holidays in Agropoli and it was just great. All in one: wonderful warm sea with a long sandy beach and fantastic sunsets, plenty of good restaurants nearby, mozzarella and ricotta di buffalo, great historic center with a medieval castle,...More

We came to Agropoli few times during our stay in Paestum. The seaside promenade is excellent, so is the castle on the hill. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants here. Back in 1445 there were 202 homes here, today over 21,000 people live...More

Stopped for a quick ice cream in the old town of Agropoli and had a beautiful walk in the old medieval town and loved it. The castle is really amazing!

I love the beach here. There is also a lovely shopping area and you can go up to the top and get a spectacular view of the port. I have gone to Agropoli twice in four years and hope to go back there again.

Basically Agropoli is an ugly run down little port town South of Naples. There is a small medieval part next to a fairly disappointing castle, but that is even more run down than the rest of town.
