Great sandy beach, with woodland coming down to sea edge on one side. A couple of bars/sunbed vendors.
We took our own towels and sat at the water’s edge and in May it wasn’t busy at all and enjoyed a swim. Quite shallow for a while.
There are marked trails behind the bay, into the forest, passing ruins and info boards about the flora and fauna.
The beach is a 10min uphill walk from the edge of town, but in my opinion the best beach in walking distance of Agropoli.

The Beach is Short but the water is very Shallow and Blue.

The owner of the jamaica bar is very unfriendly, especially against non italian tourists. Food is rather medium and expensive. We got two paninis for around 9€ without salt and pepper and the bread was obviously from the day before.

We had a great holiday in Italy, but the stop we had at Baia di Trentova ruin it all. We stopped just for 1 hour and left our car in a payed parking place there. When we came back to the car, a window was broken and all we had inside was gone: phones, wallets with cash. The police did not want to come to us and when we went to them, they didn't do anything. "It's not the first time and it won't be the last", the police officer said. The beach was very very crowded, the swimming part was also not a good experience. Never ever go to this beach!

Beautiful scenery close to Floris B&B. It has spectacular panorama view and lovely beach with a little restaurant on the beach.

Granted it was a Sunday but this was a really crowded beach. Not a lot to like. Had a much better day the day before at Santa Maria Castellabate

The beach is located southwest from Agropoli about 30-40 minutes on foot. There were just a few people sleeping or relaxing. I set my towel and lay down to rest too. I was there out of the tourist season so definitely not the typical summer crowd. The water wasn't too cold and though slightly windy it was great.

We came here on a beautiful Sunday in September. Know when you come here that there are two beach "clubs" offering chairs and umbrellas for a cost. If you don't want to pay, you can sit anywhere there aren't chairs and umbrellas. And sit everyone did. The beach was packed with people...shoulder to shoulder and towel to towel...BUT...the Bay is gorgeous! The water is crystal clear and incredible. Both beach clubs offer simple but delicious foods. A tip- if you want to eat during prime time, just walk up early to reserve a table. We were too late but took food to go.

All in all we had a fantastic time- the was a quintessential Italian local beach experience and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! just be prepared for lots of people!

We walked there from the port area, arriving around 10.30 in the morning. Every beach chair (and there were hundreds) was taken or reserved. That left about 1 metre sq for the 2 of us to sit.

We were there in the beginning of July, but it was a real army of tourists there. Sitting in your beach cheer you can feel the shoulder and smell of neighbor. Water was muddy with a lot of sea grass.
So "Italian Maldives" term is real hyperbole for this beach.

We spent the afternoon here on the beach, warm sunshine, calm water, easy walk from Agropoli. Little beach shack sold wine for 2 euros a cup. Take a picnic lunch and your swimsuit. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!
