Large church beside the square where you can find stalls many products .The origins of this church are uncertain but it seems to have been built on the area that housed a Saracen settlement and the old city cemetery. It seems that a first construction dates back to 1600 including a small chapel dedicated to “Santa Maria del Pozzo”, due to its proximity to a natural well. At the end of the 19th century a small marble altar was built and only in 1954 was it recognized as a new parish.
Facade without particular decorations, inside too but with beatiful frescoes on the ceiling
