This is a beautiful church inside and out. I am Episcopalian myself so I was able to appreciate everything about it. Even though it was built in 1902 it feels like it was built during the Middle Ages. Great place in trim

My family popped into this church on a whim as part of short self-directed walking tour of Trim. We were glad we did because the inside of the church is lovely. The Celtic mosaics at the front of the church are especially beautiful.

Coming into Trim you will have a lot of magnificent heritage sights to behold. St. John's Castle, St. Mary's Abbey, and then St. Patrick's Church comes into view with its very prominent high steeple. Settled in a beautiful landscaped space to the rear there is a lovely grotto which commands your attention. Then as you enter the church you will be welcomed by a columned interior with striking wood work on the ceiling, and an impressive organ stands tall as you look back towards the door you entered.
The Stations of the Cross are beautifully coloured and detailed, plus the stained glass windows with sunlight highlighting their coloured glass and perfect imagery. The mosaic work at the back of the altar is exquisite … its brightened by the gold contained in its Celtic designs. You come out smiling at the beauty of the craftmanship you left behind.

This is an average church, church none the less. We are told inside is great and nice. Outside is ok.

That huge steeple you see heading to Trim city belongs to St Patrick's Cathedral Church, parts of which dates from the 15th century, although it wasn't granted cathedral status until 1955. Take a look at the beautiful stained-glass windows, including one showing St Patrick preaching on the Hill of Tara.

There are a lot of St. Patrick's churches, but this is the real deal. Beautiful, serene, stunning architecture.

We stopped in for a quick visit while we waited for our Trim Castle Keep tour. The grounds are beautiful, especially the grotto of Our Lady. The Church is in excellent condition and is open to visitors.Highly recommended of you are visiting Trim Castle.

We enjoyed a tour from a docent that was so full of history and local lore - we loved every minute. Really made our time there so meaningful.

My first visit was purely because I was a tourist. Its such a lovely Church inside. Stained Glass etc. So I decided I would come back the following day and come to Mass. Even if your not a Catholic, 'just a tourist'...I would visit there. There's something about the Irish and their Mass. Their hearts are on their sleeves....
