- Arlen WeinerSomerville, Massachusetts5 contributionsIncredible olive oil, incredible peopleThe tour we took at Masseria Brancati was amazing - the tour guide was so funny and knowledgeable. We learned so much about olive oil and got to roam through the beautiful olive groves. the olive oil we tasted was incredible. Highly recommend a visit here if you're in Puglia.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 April 2023
- Kevin WKey West, Florida7 contributionsGreat Experience, Great for KidsThis place was the highlight of our trip to Ostuni. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. This tour is great for children as well, and the olive oil was awesome. Its easy to get there from Ostuni, we just got one of the many "tuk tuk" taxis on the main plaza. Five stars all the wayVisited April 2023Written 30 April 2023

Our guide, Pietro Gallone, could not have been more hospitable. Well versed in English, he took us on a tour of the olive trees, some dating back over 2500 years. Then to the ancient underground olive press and more modern ones in the Masseria. Finally a tasting of the olive oils produced. Well worth a visit if on the region.Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 19 June 2023
- loutch68Grenoble, France471 contributionsNice visit !We really appreciated the visit we had at the masseria. The visit lasts more than one hour and focuses on the olive trees of the masseria, the history of how olive oil was made in the past, and ends with a degustation of different olive oils. I advise you to call in advance, to register for a guided tour (14€/ pers), some of them are in English (several per days, but we were there in august so it might change)Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 August 2023

Word of mouth is how visitors find it. 7th generation family run farm with olive trees up to 3000 years old. Original rustic experience clean and comfortable. Delightful breakfast with homemade preserves. Toasted almonds from farm. Informative tour of ancient production facilities and olive oil tasting included in B&B rate. An experience you will always remember. Direct sale of olive oil, can be shipped also. Thank you Corrado, wife and team for a thoroughly wonderful experienceVisited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 30 August 2023
- Anuj_MithaniMumbai, India3,924 contributionsMemorable farmstayWe spent 2 nights as B&B guests at the property and also joined a farm tour/oil tasting (included in the tariff). For those seeking a rustic/authentic masseria experience at a real, working farm - look no further. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and equipped with basic cooking facilities also. Breakfast (included in the tariff) was served in the olive grove, and on a day with inclement weather in the hosts' beautiful home. The owners Corrado and Antonella are wonderful hosts, and treated us like family. The property is a slice of heaven. The tour itself, which is a major tourist magnet, is very informative and interesting with passionate and knowledgeable guides. Very high quality olive oils- a reflection of the love and dedication that has gone into running the farm while respecting age-old traditions dating back to Roman times.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 November 2023

We really enjoyed our tour of the olive oil farm especially as it was by a family member. Seeing a 3000 yr old tree, hearing about how they make oil, standing in the cave where they used to manufacture it and getting to taste their current olive oils were particular highlights. Learnt a few new things too - go on the tour and you will find out too!

Lovely tour of the olive groves followed by a visit to the museum to see process past and more present. Finally, a short tasting of the excellent oil. The narrative wad both knowledgable and humour .
We enjoyed our visit very much, and so did Wilma and Betty, our 2 dogs
