Not much there really, but interesting if you like geology. Worth taking a look if you are in the area.

I had a walk, along with my wife, to have a look: surrounded by estates (no entry, for residents only) there are just a few volcanic rocks, covered with spray painting writings, resembling, as they use to say, "monsters"...Don't waste your time over there!

We learned about this after having arrived at the island so it wasn't on our original list of things to sea. But having seen it mentioned we thought we'd check it out as it looked quite interesting with the rock formations. Finding the Valle dei Mostri was a bit difficult as it wasn't particularly well sign-posted after the main town signs stopped, but we found it after following our noses really. It was quite an interesting spot to see really though the formations weren't as big as we were expecting. Suggest going when the sun is not at its highest otherwise you will melt if you're walking to them! 6pm is a good time or early morning.…
