We spent a bit of time wandering around this amazing lake, beautiful scenery and lots of space to walk. Just right if you're looking for a nice place to relax and unwind, highly recommended!

In late Autumn, the See becomes glassy and turns the colour of mercury. The peaks of the Alps are just visible through the grey mist. You can see Winter coming in Starnberg. Beautiful place.

This lake is within easy reach of Munich by train or car. Lovely views across the lake towards the mountains and lots of cafes and bars nearby to try out local specialties!

I travelled by train there from Munich city center.There are a lot of nice walks there and various places to eat!
