This Historic Homestead has it all. Museum, working engines, blacksmith, and the old House set in beautiful gardens. Monty's Tearoom lovely and great food. The Yesteryear Tour was well worth the cost and our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and interesting. Spend the day here.

Amazed by size of today's festival exhibits and the sheer dedication of volunteers to keep this Homestead & surrounds in top notch condition. Spent 5 hours but will need more than one visit to do justice. Entry price is reasonable - check website. Advisable to...More

A well hidden place to visit. Take a tour of the homestead with a relative of the original owners. Visit the museum, cafe and shop. Purchase local jams and chilli sauce which is hot and highly recommended. As a wedding venue there are options. Small...More

We visited Mont de Lancey on Mother's Day and had a beautiful special Mother's Day lunch in Monty's Cafe. The food was beautiful, home cooked roasts, salad, veggies, fresh scones with jam & cream & cakes and donuts. Very generous amounts at $25 a head....More

Visiting this area for the first time for a friends wedding. Very beautiful spot & great historical items in the buildings. Cute little chapel & well maintained gardens. Friendly staff. Would like to return here one day to take in the atmosphere of the area

We enjoyed a lovely day here, we did an organised tour with ine if the extremely knowledgeable volunteers. The old church is definitely worth a look. Highly recommended.
