This was a most interesting and entertaining walk this morning. Geoff is one of the regular City of Rochester guides and has done the extra research to give this tour which he does free of charge but requests donations for the Royal British Legion. Highly...More

A very interesting (free!) walking tour around Rochester centre, taking in parts of the high street but also hidden gems around and about. Learnt lots of history about the place and also how different buildings linked to the town's strong affiliation with Dickens, including which...More

Our guide was brilliant and definitely knew his stuff. Very friendly too. We walked around thencity to places you wouldn't normally go and told us the history. A lovely day for couples or families. It's buggy friendly too.

John was so knowledgable and engaging during our tour during Dickens festival. Having lived in Rochester for many years I was quiet ignorant to the history on my own doorstep. Will highly recommend!!

Thoroughly enjoyed John's tour of Rochester earlier today. Despite the crowds due to the Dickens Festival, he managed to find ways and places to make it relaxing and informative. Would certainly recommend as a way of finding out fascinating details of the area's history.

Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable about the city liking it to its Dickens heritage. It is a must to do to discover Rochester’s rich history! The tour is absolutely free and donations are welcome.
