A beautifully castle spent a morning absorbing the sights and history. We'll worth a visit. Beautifully hidden down a narrow cobblestone road. Information inside the castle very informative. Audio guide very easy to follow, you can walk round as you please as everything numbered.
Has lots of character but for an “attraction” it wasn’t very educational there were lots of empty rooms- so a bit lacking for the £6.40 admission fee (adult) great views though!

It is look like a Ford more then Castle. It is a very compact building with interesting entrances, exits and stairs. Very funny place for playing with children.
You could not find here fantastic, huge building. It is an Ford in strategy important place.

Very disappointed to have spent 90 minutes driving to Upnor Castle only to arrive and find it closed for the day. I appreciate that this was due to sickness but it would not have taken more than a couple of minutes to advertise this on...More
