A beautifully castle spent a morning absorbing the sights and history. We'll worth a visit. Beautifully hidden down a narrow cobblestone road. Information inside the castle very informative. Audio guide very easy to follow, you can walk round as you please as everything numbered.

It is look like a Ford more then Castle. It is a very compact building with interesting entrances, exits and stairs. Very funny place for playing with children. You could not find here fantastic, huge building. It is an Ford in strategy important place.

Very disappointed to have spent 90 minutes driving to Upnor Castle only to arrive and find it closed for the day. I appreciate that this was due to sickness but it would not have taken more than a couple of minutes to advertise this on...More

The 191 Bus runs out that way, not sure on frequency or cost, it is walkable (about 45 minutes) It is worth looking on google maps for the best route, sorry unable to post a link on here

We was there for a couple of hours and had a flask and pack lunch with good views of the river and there's a good area of grass they have audio guide book which tell you the history at the door for a pound to hire hope this... More
