My wife and I very much enjoyed our tasting at Carpazzo. We had a wonderful host who gave us a very nice tour. The tasting afterward was in a very nice facility where we were allowed to chose the wines we were tasting with a...More
Stubble across this winery while walking the hills of Tuscany. Stopped in the lovely tasting room and purchased a pilgrims lunch of a sandwich, a glass a really fabulous white wine and a bottle of water. Sat outside to consume (it was siesta) and thoroughly...More
We were staying at Castello Banfi, a good 25 miles in the opposite direction over Montalcino, but we love Carpazo, so we had to try it out. We worked our way up to the winery, with many missteps, getting lost in the countryside (Google Maps...More
Visited the Caparzo winery on our tour with Giovanni of Montalcino Wine Tours! We were shown about by Christina who was fantastic in explaining the process and history from beginning to end. We had a great tasting session and I will forever remember thanks to...More
Have stayed at villa 3 different times. Have done the wine tour & tastings. Christina & Alessandra are terrific. Lorenzo's alright too. Beautiful property. Great location. Not much more to say except experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Got shown around the Winery by the lovely Christina, she went through all the process of the wine making with some really interesting facts, and then finished off by sampling 6 bottles made all the better with each one being explained. And you don't have...More
We booked a winetasting (for two couples) at the Caparzo Winery on a recent visit to Italy. Our host Lorenzo took us on a tour of the winery and then to a winetasting room for sampling. Lorenzo was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband is a...More
We came here having tasted their Brunello in a restaurant in Siena. Winery is on the end of a dirt road bit off the main road. Signage is good and it is easy to find, though. We hadn't booked anything beforehand, but were still welcommed...More

I am sure they can go on the tour. Caparzo is family owned and run. They employ generations of families. The young woman who gave out tour in English was from a vineyard working family nearby. Plus, the Italians are so... More
I am sure they can go on the tour. Caparzo is family owned and run. They employ generations of families. The young woman who gave out tour in English was from a vineyard working family nearby. Plus, the Italians are so family-oriented! I think there is enough interesting things to see ( the presses, vats, storage casks, etc) that a 2 and 4 year old would be amused for an hour tour and tasting. As to cost, I cannot imagine that they would charge for your children, unless they can drink their 2 glasses of wine! 😁😂😂 If they did charge, be sure to get your kids’ booze for yourself!!!!!
