This is a lovely park. Great for young children. There is a bar/restaurant with pleasant staff. The view is worth the visit and you can reach it with the little train.

Beautiful old castle, that is in surprisingly good shape. It takes about 20min to walk there from the port (and one can pick up an ice cream on the way). The view over the lake and Arona is breathtaking, and I can only recommend to...More

Few minutes walking from downtown you can reach a wonderful landscape, one of the oldest site in Arona. A tourist "train" stop at the Rocca Borromea. You can drink and eat seeing the lake and the whole city.

This is such a great walk up and if you can not walk take the tourist train in summer. Worth the walk, take a book and have a great wine of aperitivo up there.
