Nungwi beach is such a beautiful part of the world, ruined by littering locals including a staff member of the turtle conservation aquarium who explained to us the importance of not littering. I would stick to stone town if I had my time again.

I have visited many beaches around the world and this one is my favourite by far. Sand is white and soft. many shells and coral rock pools at low tide. Loved it!

Romantic, pristine beach, amazing white sand, blue and green clear water, we have seen twice per lunar day, good place for snorkeling, the village and poverty of local people is not a good thing besides
