The Nungwi Beach is probably the best beach in Zanzibar. The water is crystal clear and the sight of the Indian Ocean fringed with greenery and coconut trees is an amazing experience to witness. Great for snorkling and scuba divers too. Munir D.

A beach from your dreams with fine white sands and clear waters. Very friendly souvenir sellers who were happy to have a laugh and joke and were not pushy at all

Lovely beach to walk from the south to the north, particularly at low tide and early morning and evening. Usually not too crowded and wonderful to see the different resorts along the way.

Nungwi is the best beach. The hotels have guards stopping the traders from harrassing the tourists.
