Overview
More
With more than 8,500 animals on 56 acres, there's plenty of fun for the whole family. The San Antonio Zoo was first established with a donation from George W. Brackenridg in the 1800s. Two of the first cageless exhibits in the U.S. opened here in 1929 and the bird collection is one of the world's largest.

Wonderful zoo to take the family. Plenty of animals to see and unique exhibits to encounter. We got to feed the giraffes. That was amazing. There was a Jurrasic park theme where they had dinosaurs the roared throughout the zoo. Very nice eating places along...More

Did not see the lions, tigers, zebras, rhinos and more. Just empty areas. Most of the areas were dirty, unkempt and needed attention. The animals seemed stressed.

I am not sure. I assume they would list this on their website or I would recommend calling.
