If you enjoy a gentle Hatha yoga style with no sweat then this studio is fine. But if you prefer a stronger asana in your practice head on over to Yoga Loft where the teachers are much more experienced and challenging.

I visited this studio for a Yoga Teacher Training Retreat 4 month ago and
I am forever changed by this beautiful experience. I was looking for a change in life and I am so grateful that I found this studio, btw they are the oldest yoga studio on Maui and probably in all Hawaii.

This program has transformed me in ways that I didn't even know were possible. Yoga Teacher Training was such a great experience. I felt this was a great time for me to heal from my past while learning how to pass on healing to others. Now I am more balanced, connected, joyful and grateful being, both on and off the mat.

Maui is such a remote place with a unique "Jurassic" nature ecosystem. It was great to discover and experience this tropical paradise, as they call it "the heart chakra of our planet".

Mahalo!

I got certified here & am never going back. The owner doesn’t care at all about her students. Positive reviews are from people that don’t know her.

I just took a class with the owner Nadia. It was amazing! She pushed me just the right amount. The setting is also so lovely and peaceful, would definitely recommend!

This is a nice small Yoga studio, with different classes during the day, for all levels.
Prices are affordable with both week passes and drop in prices.

What a nice spot for Wailea visitors who want to continue their practice during vacation. It is conveniently located near Monkey Pod at the tip of Wailea’s corner entrance and is a well-maintained, nicely-lit space with a great vibe. I would recommend Elise’s classes, which are challenging enough for regular practitioners with easy options for beginners. She also seems to be someone who lives her yoga practice rather than someone who is merely interested in going through the postures while listening to her favorite playlist. Would definitely go to Elise’s classes again.

Very nice studio - airy and light with one small window with ocean views. Felt like mostly locals, but they were very welcome to visitors. I was in the area for a week and bought a $90 unlimited pass so I could go every day. Dylan was my favorite teacher - I like my yoga as challenging as possible with alot of flow. Some of the others were slower and more restorative - great as well, just a bit too light for me.

As a beginner, I was looking for a Yogastudio to visit during my one month stay in Paia/Maui. What I found, was the key to a whole new world of Yoga. It is Nadia and her amazingly kind team, who create that welcoming and incredibly positive energy at Maui Yoga Shala, that made every Yoga practice a beautiful treat and provided the perfect environment for personal, physical and spiritual growth. I would like to say, exactly what I was looking for. But I didn't even know, that something that wonderful existed before. Thank you for this great month, you guys opened some doors, Yoga now has a new meaning to me. Namaste!

Beautiful and big studio! You can watch the ocean as you practice, with nice mirror for corrections. It's a good mix of locals and those on vacations, with usually smaller classes for a very personal and friendly feel. I've only been to Tashmere's class but it was so wonderful. Very cute boutique in front as well. Best yoga in wailea!

My husband and I visited Maui for two weeks and couldn't have been happier we found this yoga center in Paia. Every class and the entire environment is welcoming, conscious and loving. The owner Nadia has hired the best instructors for a wonderful variety of classes from kids yoga, adult yoga, Congolese drumming dance classes and ballet. All the senses are indulged here with fresh fragrant flowers everywhere, a healthy food kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and smoothies and books and gongs. There are even two resident cats to make you feel at home. Big kudos to Nadia and the EXCELLENT staff of instructors who combine emotional awareness and wisdom in each class as well as thorough physical processes. We left each class feeling renewed, serene, freer and so glad we attended. Masako, a visiting teacher from Japan was especially open hearted and kind. It truly was a highlight of our trip! Short term passes are available.
Mahalo Nadia and entire staff of instructors.
