Emma from Spanish Highs Mountain Guides, sorted out the admin components and got us started, in a friendly and professional manner. The 4 day Alpine Introduction course was run by our guide Jens. I have to say, Jens is a top notch mountaineer, distilling his knowledge, wisdom and skills to us with humour, sensitivity and robust planning. By the end of the course, we safely summited Cerro Caballo (my first 3000 m summit), in a capable and confident manner and took away the necessary skills for further winter Alpine adventures. Thanks so much Jens and Spanish Highs!

Brillant and well organised time spent with Spanish Highs climbing Mulhacen mountain and walking Ruta Medieval, Taha del Pitres.
Filipe and Sean guided us up the mountain , and made us feel at ease, then Richard guided
us through lovely Spanish villages and to beautiful waterfall's. We also got taken to a lovely restaurant after one of hikes for a beer and pizza đ
Would highly recommend đ

Fantastic and memorable few days spent with friends hiking in the Sierra Nevada with Spanish Highs where we climbed to the summit of Mulhacen and hiked on the Ruta Medieval.
Spanish Highs put together a bespoke itinerary that was perfect with professional, friendly and knowledgable guides who worked with the group and gauged our abilities and gave us the best experience.
Would highly recommend and would love a return visit at some point.

A fantastic few days spent with Spanish Highs climbing Mulhacen mountain and walking Ruta Medieval, Taha del Pitres whilst raising money for Guide Dogs UK.
All areas were expertly guided with stunning views and several surprises such as mountain goats, waterfalls and the best beer and pizza we could wish for!
Spanish Highs made a bespoke itinerary for us which ran like clockwork and was just what we wanted.
The guides, Richard, Filipe and Sean were friendly, funny, knowledgeable and 100% professional. Weâll definitely be back for more walks with them soonđ

Fabulous week in the Alpujarras . Our group of 8 loved the 5 varied, challenging walks with our excellent guides,Felipé and Sean.
The Hotel Alcadima is wonderful as was the food they provided. Friendly, helpful staff. Ok
All was organised to perfection by Emma at Spanish Highs.
Thoroughly recommend.

What a great week I have had out in Sierra nevada, 2 days were spent on an alpine course learning all of the basics that I would need and the last 2 days spent climbing the mulhacen, the guides were great, very experienced and knowledgeable people that I couldn't recommend enough. Everything from the trip planning to actually doing the climbs was very easy, if you get the chance I highly reccoemnd Spanish highs

I took the Cortijos De Hornillo with a guide from Spanish Highs and it was excellent.
Emma from Spanish Highs was so helpful in helping me choose a hike that would suit ability and answering all the questions I had before the trip very quickly.
The hike itself was beautiful and Jens was a fantastic guide, he was very supportive and has helped me feel confident in my hiking ability for future trips.
The maps and national park signage is not exactly clear (to say the least!) so I was very pleased to have an experienced guide who knew the area very well.
I would thoroughly recommend Spanish Highs, and hiking in the Sierra Nevada area.

I have just spent a day walking up Mulhacen Mountain in Andalucia. The guide Victoria made the day special . She made sure we went at a pace I could manage - not being used to altitude! She explained the mountain ranges and was full of such interesting chat. It was a lovely day. I hope my company WalkingWomen can bring many more people to experience Victoriaâs fantastic guiding.

I knew from communication before I even arrived that Chris knew exactly what he was doing. Chris picked from my hotel in Granada and had planned a fantastic trail run. It matched my abilities and challenged me a bit too. The views were stunning and Chris offered loads of interesting information about the flora and fauna and history of the region. This as well as some great tips to improve my running and the good chats meant it was a brilliant day. Would definitely recommend.
