- Jemilla TJacksonville, Florida172 contributionsWas a nice experienceWas a nice experience especially if you have been walking quite a bit to rest your feet and see Atlanta up high. We went around about 4-5 times, which was nice as I thought it would only be once. The operators were nice and helpful.Visited April 2023Written 27 April 2023
- ArnniOverton, United Kingdom26 contributionsGreat view of the city - worth it for those scenic shotsIf you want a great view of the city then this is it. We had about four turns in it, but it was very much worth it. They offer you a photo opportunity which we did, however our photo didn’t turn out right so they let us have some more photos taken for free. Would 100% recommend this attractionVisited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 August 2023
- jehenson81Washington DC, District of Columbia22,311 contributionsDuring the DayI know this is a popular ride to go on at night to see the Centennial Olympic park all lit up but I wanted to get some good photos of the park during the daylight. There were only a few other people riding it so I got a pod to myself. It goes around three or four times and takes about ten minutes. I got some really good photos and I enjoyed the ride.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 25 October 2023
- JayloveNew York City, New York9 contributionsThe view and ride well worth it.It was a great experiences. We had arrived later than our reservation time but they were very accommodating. We did get some soft drinks offer to drinks and was in the gondola for about 30mins however we could have stayed longer but we had other plans. We purchased the VIP tickets to be able to stay on the gondola longer than general admissions. Overall we enjoyed the ride and the view.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 January 2024

They take you twice around for just under $20. A complete rip off. The views aren’t very good either. No lines because the locals know this is a tourist trap

I was walking through Centennial Olympic Park one afternoon and saw this beautiful Ferris wheel all lit up and calling my name. I’m a sucker for a good Ferris wheel, whether it be the Texas Star® in Dallas or the famous London Eye or the Bailang River Bridge Ferris wheel in Weifang, China. I’ve ridden many of them.
Here’s the problem. All of those offer sweeping panoramas of intriguing scenery. SkyView Atlanta only offers a decent view of the park, but buildings block everything else including Atlanta’s tallest skyscrapers and any sort of distant look at the horizon. It’s just not in a good location.
So you end up spending $18.51 per person to spin around four times, lingering near the top on the fourth circumnavigation, but seeing the same boring views over and over again. It’s really not worth the time nor the money.

This was a fun activity with a visiting family member. The line was short and I had tickets from Groupon. Recommend to anyone in the Centennial Park area.

Overpriced, drink bar closed, cool view at sunset of the Olympic park, nice a/c and enclosed cars with large windows. Good for teens and younger.

Skyview Atlanta in all fairness we did it during the day, would have been prettier in night with all the lights!
You can get an idea of where everything is located.
The aquarium I highly recommend.
So many places to eat around this area.

If you are referring to the horse drawn carriage ride, it was $25/person when I rode it.
If your referring to a the gondola on the Ferris wheel, it's $15/adult. Senior citizens are $13.50. I think children were $12. A gondola holds up to 6 people. They don't combine you with other parties.
I purchased the date night tickets for our anniversary the 20 thru the 22 and the website shows only valid Sunday thru Thursday? Is this a problem?

This attraction is very temperamental. Often times what is stated on their website is not necessarily reliable. I would advise what others have already suggested and that would be to double check by giving them a phone call.

Do you have to book in advance? Or can you purchase your ticket on Groupon and arrive the same day?

When my friend and I visited there. The cart is only two of us. Without any stranger.
Can you pay for the tickets while you are waiting in line?

Yes but I would suggest checking groupon for a discount first.

If it rains does it rain on you. If you purchased tickets separate can you ride together?

It is enclosed with seating for several people. You would be able to ride together until capacity is reached.
