A few years ago, no more than five, this bronze age structure, strangely similar to a Scottish Broch, had a fine path heading up to it and was worth a visit. Now the path is overgrown and so is the Nuraghe. Bring tree loppers and watch out for snakes.

where were they?

We walked the unkempt path up to what we thought would be a Nuraghe. By the time we got there, after having to brush aside spindly shrubs and wave off bees, we finally glimpsed a row of rocks at the top of the hill. The amount of vegetation made is virtually impossible to get any closer. They really need to keep this cut back if they expect people to stop. Maybe charging an entrance fee would actually be a good thing once they do get the area ready and then it helps with the cost of maintenance.
